After logging in, click on “Settings” (1)

and change your password at the bottom of the page.

To update your profile, start by logging in.
Then : 1-2-3

and you’re ready to edit your profile.
To change your avatar, or user image, just click the “Change Avatar” link below “Edit Profile” (3).

The Activity wall is where you can post quick blurbs about what you are doing. To get to your Activity wall, click on your name (1).

You can enter anything you want on your wall (2), but it is usually best to stick with status updates.

Your Activity wall also shows your activity around the site (3). If you write in the forum, comment on a blog post, or become friends with someone it gets put on your wall. This makes it easier for people to follow your thoughts on things.

To mention other users on your wall use their @ tag (4).

Viewing what your friends or groups are up to is easy. Select them under “Options Control” (5) to see their Activity walls and what they’ve been doing around the site. You can also see anything you’ve marked as “Favorite” or if anyone has mentioned you on their wall.

Groups allow you to find people with similar interests as yourself. Each group has a Group Activity Wall that is similar to a Users Activity Wall. To reach the Group Activity Wall, click Groups and select the group that you wish to view.

If a group is marked as “Private”, you have to request membership to that group to be able to read from or post to that group. To request membership, click the “Request Membership” button.

Inside Groups you can reach the Group Forums. See “Where are the Forums?” for more info.

The forums are found inside the groups. Each group has its own forums with Topics and Posts. To reach the Forums for a group, select the group and then click on “Forum” (1).

To post a new topic, use the form at the bottom of the forum page (2) under the group you with to post the topic too. If you would like to view a topic, click on the topic you wish to reply to (3).

Click on “Group Forums” to return to the list of topics under this Group’s forum (1). Click on “Group Forum Directory” to see all publicly available forums .

The main topic will be displayed under the group with each reply underneath it in chronological order (2).

If you would like to reply to a topic use the Reply form at the bottom of the page (3).
